This should stop the NCAA talk

The rpiforecast site that has been mentioned so many times actually predicted that we'd finish conference play at 8-8. Same record as last year.
They show the probabilities for winning remaining games and Bama was one we were expected to lose.
Our RPI dropped about 6 spots to 111, some services will have us lower.
I'm posting this for those who are tired of talking possibilities and are more comfortable with probabilities.
With the Alabama loss the probabilities of us making the dance are very very slim.
But, for others who never give up, the possibility is still there.

UGA being ahead of us is embarrassing.

On a positive though with miss st losing AGAIN we are still tied for 4th place. If we win out which would include beating vandy, assuming they lose to either UF/uk, we would still get 3rd place.

I think it would be great just to get an NIT bid. Before this season started the projections were dire. The team has improved tremendously and any post season tournament would be a win in my book. Go Vols !!!

We should have no problem making the NIT, many including myself were/are just excited at the idea of the NCAA tournament.

NIT would be no small accomplishment with this team that's for sure.

Wish I had your patience. I was shocked the other day when I looked at my ignore list and saw how many I had on it. I will say most of them come from the football board though.
