To win. They, once again, with a lot to play for simply don’t show up.

Last year they had the opportunity to make history ( first 4 team playoff berth) and let a half wit distort their focus.

Most of these guys playing were recruited by Pruitt & probably never had any hope of really winning anything. Tennessee needs to play the younger guys more. I’ll take crap like today if I see 6-7 young guys out there but playing a bunch of seniors getting their ass kicked in the OL, beat on defense disappoints me.

Doesn’t help our offense can’t play Heupels style. But that’s on him. We all know Milton can’t really run the offense Heupel wants. He can manage but This year we have relied on run and defense. Both failed today. We got blown out.

They seem to have a problem overcoming adversity, especially on the road. Things snow ball and all of a sudden the game is out of hand. It happened tonight just like the UF game. I'm hoping a new QB will help. Not trying to hate on Joe. He has made major strides this year and tonight wasn't his fault. But the difference in the mentality of the team with Milton under Center vs Hook is plain to see.

Very possible that Jeff Haffley/ Geoff Collins/ Derek Mason and Dave Aranda will all be available. No reason to shop off the bargain bin. Target your guy and pay them 2 million.
I'm not keen on Arranda after they gave up 59 today.

Mason is intriguing since he has shown he has been good in conference before and has a questionable future in announcing.

But your point is taken . Roll with the big dogs and spend the money if they think they can upgrade on Banks.

I really want to see Martinez at a minimum shown the door.

Lousy at UGA ....Lousy at TN twice now and isn't adding that much in recruiting that I can tell. Pretty sure lousy tackling technique has gotten Haden and now MacDonald hurt as well.

You are right. I felt like lack of effort (especially on defense and o line) was by far the biggest issue today.

O Line got their hats handed to them.

LBs and CBs were nonexistent.

Lack of effort and desire with so much still to play for is the most concerning outcome of this loss. It speaks volumes to me on where the program currently stands. I feel like I’ve seen the movie before.
