Yes, the only thing remaining is pride and continue to work for a 2nd tier bowl. There is still some good destinations for the players but they aren't fighting for much else right now.

There is some innate in players and coaches that you can't put your finger on that makes them play like champions. All great teams have it. It's the intangibles. It's in the deep recesses of the brain that turns on. It's more than talent. Sometimes you don't or might not know that its even there if you haven't experienced it. I don't think our program has that right now. It tells you I'm not hitting that gap hard enough because I'm playing scared or not being physical enough against the lineman. I'm not going to miss the RB running out into the flats again. Thoughts about how you need to us fundamentals in the open field when the time comes instead of reaching and overcommitting. All difficult things but things that are practiced and must be done.

Hopefully we can get there eventually. Just have to keep playing and getting better every week.

Austin Price said at a certain point a lot of the older players didn’t want to be out there. I’d identify those players and remove them.

It’s hard to swallow the hike in season tickets when this type effort is what we get! Milton is not a leader in any capacity other than just being a good dude. Zero competivness, he just shrugs his shoulders and goes back to the bench when we don’t get a first down or have a turnover. It’s frustrating to watch, Mizzou kicked our teeth in and we let a division 2 rb rip us for over 300 yards. Our secondary is so lost without Hadden. I was watching Georgia db’s last night and they fly up and make tackles, close gaps immediately. Then it occurred to me, we don’t have that type talent level right now. Herring looks so slow at LB, we can’t protect the edge at all. We need better athletes at LB and DB to compete.

Gotta care to be embarrassed or ashamed. I see it every day at work with my employees. Lack of effort and mistakes are no cause for shame when you just don’t care.

Agree, they don't care. They don't give their All for Tennessee. Fans care much more than the players!

Got physically whipped on the LOS. Senior Oline got it handed to them.. Front 7 on defense got it handed to them pretty good as well.. UGA will whip them too. Need some mean players on the LOS..
