Lies. There were plays to be made in the first half, we just didn't make them. It was there. He can draw it up perfectly, if the players can't execute it doesn't matter.

Thrilled with this win. This win is on the Defense and our Defensive coaches. Still a lot of question marks on offensive scheme and play calling

thrilled with the win, but this is all on the defense and defensive coaches. Really like Heupel but his play calling and game management is still a question mark. Hope he learns and improves each game.

That and our receivers finally starting catching the balls that hit their hands. Nico isn’t playing great, but our receivers aren’t helping him.

I’m not mad about how the game was called. At all, I just wish we could get something going on offense. In reality we should’ve won this game 38-17, but I’ll shut up and enjoy this win. Hopefully this is the wake up call the team needed. Frick Alabama, Go Vols!

I’m not afraid to point out that both of bama’s TD drives were made possible by officiating errors. The first one was the terrible spot on 4th and short when bama lost yardage yet were still awarded the first down without a review. The second was the face mask against McCoy when he is face mask was also being held - should have been offsetting.

All day long.

How many times did it feel like this game was slipping away? And yet somehow our staff and players had us within 7 until we tied it.

And the management of the game after that was excellent.

The only real gaff I saw was Alabama going on 4th and 22 under 2:00 and throwing it short.

How many huge gains if not touchdowns were missed in the first half? Folks are just going to have to accept that there will be growing pains with young quarterbacks

We had wide open receivers downfield on every big play call. Missing the pass or dropping the ball isn’t on the coach.

LOL. He fumbled the ball on a promising opening drive? He missed open touchdown throws? First half play calling was not an issue. First half execution yes. If you think play calling was an issue well.....

I’m doing the same. I felt like we were completely in the game (and maybe flirting with the edge) even in the second quarter, and I didn’t need the energy suck of being on here.

Did anyone else notice we picked up the offensive tempo in the 2nd half? Looked more like when Hooker used run the offense.

Just would be nice to start scoring in the 1st half again. This coming from behind in 2nd half gets my blood pressure too high.

We all seem to forget we have been playing without a full roster for three years, it’s starting to balance out with the elite teams.
