Bad fit in the 4-3...if he wanted to transfer...and Bama had the spot...classy move would be for Butch to sign off on Carr's second choice.

I mentioned that I didn't list him on defense because I think he'll get moved to tackle.

I disagree with butchna though. I think he could still be valuable to us as a tackle. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ended up being a great OT. He has more of an OL build than a DL build anyway.

I'm assuming the coaches are going to try to redshirt him since he blew his knee out so late in the season.

No use rushing him back now that we have solid depth there. Plus, gaining that extra year could be mutually beneficial for both parties. I wouldn't be surprised to see Helm or Wolf leave after 3 seasons. Red shirting Branisel could be big for the depth if that happens.
