Thoughts on Kentucky

storming the court for the nit.

damn, that's sad

If this was some big school I would agree, but it is Robert Morris where this will most likely be the biggest athletic achievement in those students 4 years

i wouldn't want to run a program the manner that cal does, but it would be a falsehood to claim he hasn't been successful at it

He has been successful having some one and dones and some experienced guys...I said it last year when all of them left and had this class incoming, theyd sorely miss a liggins, harrelson, Patterson, jones, miller etc...Cal has always had those guys even going back to his UMASS days.

You see what a team full of freshman and sophomores got him....he has got to recruit some 3 and 4 year players IMO. Depending on who leaves this year next year may not be the cake walk to a championship like many UK fans are expecting.

And explain how Cal used "leftovers" from Billy G? Patterson, yeah. But most every year, we've been led by freshman and played mostly underclassmen.

That might have been the biggest sporting event in the school's history, unless they're really good at something that they care a lot about that most of the country doesn't follow.

Elite 8, Final 4, and Championship. Now the NIT. Better than most schools in the past 4 years. I'll take the bad year .

Once again, look at those teams. He did that with key contributions from billy g recruits...he needs to recruit some 3 and 4 year guys.

I remember a poster telling you pre season UK wousl struggle without the experience, they may not be ranked and may struggle to make the dance. You and many others laughed at that poster and called it ridiculous...who's laughing now?

Last year it was all freshman and sophmores, look what they got. You're gonna have bad years with this system. It doesn't mean the entire idea is flawed.

Come on, it's Robert Morris. I know it's the NIT but how often are they going to beat a program like Kentucky, and host them for goodness sake.

Let them have their celebration.

They've said that every single year. They're bound to be right eventually.

Yeah, Cal won his championship with Billy G players. Solid argument BTO.
