Thoughts on Kentucky

Even Harrow said he planned to come back next year.

Once again MKG said he was returning, then deuces!

My guess...Noel, Stein, Goodwin and Poythress gone. Harrow idk about, if he can get a 2nd round grade gone, if not return.

Wiltjer returning.

I still think Stein and Poythress could really use the next year to improve. Crossing my fingers bleeding.

He looked very promising at NC State. A lot of their fans liked him better than Lorenzo Brown

Harrow was a promising player, just never really looked comfortable on the court the whole year. At least Teague calmed down at the end and didn't hurt us.

They could definitely improve...thing is is that worth the loss of money or risk of injury. If they can go top 15 they should go...theyre gonna be overshadowed next year and next years draft is gonna be much stronger.

Not so much now. He logged 9 minutes of PT tonight.

Oh I know, was just saying someone saw potential somewhere...if I'm him I test the waters and see what I can do...he comes back and he's not gonna raise his stock on the bench.

Also, given the issues he and Cal have had he may not be allowed back lol. May just need to go ahead and head to the D league, nothing wrong with that.

Even the optimistic UK fan knew we weren't that good.

Let's say Stein, Poythress, Wiltjer, and Harrow stay. With the recruits we have, how many schollys is that?

Btw, Goodwin won't stay.

You're asking BTO to fill you in on UK's scholarship situation?

To illustrate my point, look at UK's rosters during Calipari's tenure. The rosters with some upperclassmen ('09-'10 and '11-'12) were very successful. The one year without much upperlcassmen (still had 2 JRs and 1 SR), UK had 9 losses. This year's team is no where near as good as the 3 previous seasons. How many kids on this year's roster would have received many minutes the past few years?

I don't know what Poole was predicting. I was just commenting on what Dykes pointed out on replay right after the shot. You're right - that's impressive if Poole studied game film or noticed something in this game that convinced him to set the last play up like that.

All I know is when he ran to the corner and called the time out the first thing I said was:

"How many times have I in my 15 years of playing basketball seen or been in a position to win a game from an inbounds pass from the corner under the goal? And intentionally there on purpose on the coach's play call?

He has a play that will get them a lay up or a dunk and they'll win the game, no other explanation."

The kid missed the layup and the other guy got fouled. The play was executed perfectly, but you can't adjust for 7ft tall.

Julius Randle, Espn's #1 Power Forward (#3 overall) about to announce his decision on ESPNU. Reportedly down to Kansas and UK.

Texas and the gators also in the mix.
