Thoughts on Kentucky

Randle was not with them last time. I've seen him several times this year. He's a beast in the paint. He's averaging almost 9 FT a game. From what I've seen is either you foul him or move out of the way. He will get all the calls at Rupp. I'm guessing 12-15 FT attempts from him this game. Stokes and Maymon will be in foul trouble just as every bigs that Randle has went up against this year, imo.

You are dead on, but if we can take away the left hand it would help a ton. He isn't the same offensive player going right. IMO

We definitely have a chance, but again our fans just expect us to roll over and give in. As a logical fan I know winning at Rupp is a task but to say we get blown out and whatever is crazy.

Why do you sound so excited about it?

You're teetering on the border of knowthevols land where it seems you're rooting against Tennessee at this point.

Not really, no - just my opinion. Last time I checked we could still post our opinions in the forum.

FWIW I thought Tennessee would beat A&M and we saw how that worked out.

But as I have said before, I have lost almost all my enthusiasm for the Basketball Vols due to "their" consistently inconsistent play and CCM's melancholy demeanor. Color me uninspired by CCM and UT Basketball.

Hopefully someone pulls a Renaldo Woolridge and hits 5 3 pointers in a row. That'd be nice.

Reese could be big. If he's hitting his shots and Randle has to follow him out 25 feet from the basket that would be big.

I'm anxious to watch the front courts, you won't find much stronger guys than Randle, Stokes and Maymon.

You think Stokes and Maymon play "strong"?

Maymon's been having trouble finishing all year.

because UK has an attacking, driving offense and UT has a passive stand around the perimeter offense. With the new rules, its completely understandable that UK has so many FTs. Add in that no on in college basketball can handle Randall and there you go.

UT has to contain James Young to win and get WCS away from the basket on D or he will 800 blocks.

As of today, Kentucky has attempted 540 FT's on the season. Missouri is 2nd with 432. Tennessee is tied for 5th with 409.

The funniest thing about it is, the difference from 2nd to last(LSU) is only 119. This stat should be an eye opener on who is the SEC's golden child, I dont think thier style of play can account for ~8 more FTPG than the 2nd place team.

Wonder what the ACC looks like?

Do you think those 2 are strong? Or weak?

When they're allowed to play physical, they are 2 of the strongest big men in the SEC. You don't average damn near double digit rebounds by being undersized and soft as charmin, get real.

Didn't take us long to go all black. I find it hard to believe not one white guy in the state of Tennessee is willing to come to Tennessee.
