Thoughts on (Louisville) Kentucky

You are an idiot for sitting here and gloating when most people new they were overrated . Even worse is the fact u do it after they lost the most dominate defensive player in the game 3 quarters through the year.

I would not expect anything less tho coming from u.

In my eyes it is just like the 08 vols football team that was overrated. Of course us fans thought we had a chance, but we ended up 5-7

I find it humorous that you call me an idiot yet can't spell...I would not expect anything less coming from you though.

Not just in this instance, but you sometimes seem to have an overvalued analysis of your opinion and worth as it pertains to a subject. You get diarrhea of the mouth and sometimes look moronic, make predictions that are horribly wrong, then show up to try and crow about the one thing you were right about, which even a buffoon could predict.

It's an act that has run it's course apparently, even amongst most VOL fans that I see here and other threads calling you out as such.

Now you're resorting to selective quoting as your defense, which is the last resort equivent to throwing rocks at the riot police as they close in around you.

Name a few predictions I've made that were "horribly wrong", I'll wait for these quotes...heres a prediction, you won't provide them.

I made a prediction UK would struggle to make the tourney or may very well miss it...how many "buffoons" made that prediction?

You consistently predicted that a 20-win Tennessee team would make the NCAA tournament. You were, of course, incorrect.

So, please, stop acting as if one assessment about a rival team (I would also love to see where you predicted that they wouldn't go dancing, but whatever) before their star player was injured makes you some sort of savant.

Lmao if that's your arguement, holy $hit how pathetic.

Well I predicted Kentucky would struggle to make the dance or miss it completely, so I'm 1/2, batting .500...that'd get me in the HOF.

I said IMO I thought 20 would get them in, I however as the bubble picture became clearer NEVER said oh they are in. I said I thought we would get in, but was about 50/50, I said as much...so you may wanna get your $hit straight.

Yea and the only reason they did not make it was because their best player f his leg up. Almost at the end of the regular season to beat it all

Oh, so you mean that predictions you posted on a message board were "your opinion?" Color me surprised.

You threw the "20 game and in line" around countless times during the course of the season. However, no one stalks your posts in the UT Basketball subforum regarding the future of Tennessee basketball ad nauseam by replying with little more than "HEY REMEMBER THAT TIME YOU WERE TOTALLY WRONG WELL I DO AND SO WHY WOULD YOU BE RIGHT NOW?"

If Louisville were a Tennessee rival, they would be viewed as a pita.

Also, they haven't had much to crow about in the last 25 years, so there's that.

And despite winning the NC, they have one fan more worried about big brother than celebrating with friends.

Kentucky Sports Radio » Blog Archive » Somebody has too much time on their hands

Bizarre fanbase.

Not sure if Kentucky fans should be criticizing Louisville's fan base. If what I've read on Catspause is any indication, all UK fans are psychopaths.

Yep. But obviously Louisville had experience and deserved it. It's been argued in the other thread, but UK fans knew we weren't top 10 material.

True UK fans and true basketball fans knew this, it was apparent after the Maryland game IMO, despite that being a win. Many of the bandwagon trash in this state would still argue UK is a better team than UofL.

Catspause: where all village idiots wander off to form their very own village.

catpause denied me permission to post for no reason other than my user name contained vol in it. And KSR kicked me off a few years ago and won't let me rejoin. Matt Jones is the mayor of the village idiots.

The one and done rule won't work for Calapari every year. He's got kids coming in next year thinking they can take Micheal Jordan 1 on 1. Talk about uncoachable..

I can't stand Matt Jones. He is like a mixture of Rucker and Hyams on steroids. HUGE UK homer.

Captain obvious. To my knowledge, no ones system works every single year. Rick Pitino is widely considered as one of the top 3 coaches in the college game, and he has produced 2 titles in 17 years. For coaches with multiple titles, the average year span between them is considerable. It would be even higher if you remove Donovan and coach K's repeats.

I love how everyone's rebuttal and argument is to slam the one and done rule as if it is a hoax, when statistically it works as well (in a cycle) than most other systems over a given period of time.

Calipari didn't invent the rule, but he does maximize it.

I'm not saying Calapari invented it. I'm saying they should get rid of the one and done rule. What's the point of them staying 1 year in college then going straight to the NBA? I say if they think they're good enough to go straight to the pros then let them prove theirselves. Most high caliber recruits think they're better than some NBA players anyway. Take this years incoming Kentucky recruits for example.
