Her dad went out for a while to run to their house for a shower while we were there. I walked out to take a walk, just to give her time with her mom. On the way home, she said her mom told her that she feels like this is it, like she's not going to make it much longer. Just a horrible situation to be in, cause what do you say to someone that close. I knew she'd changed, as in gotten more scared. Soon as we walked in she wanted me to have prayer with her. Just ranting, but it's definitely tough. I'd been to the hospital before with friends and coworkers who knew they didn't have much time. It just hits different when it's your wife's momma, I guess seeing her upset every day makes it like this even more.

i suffer from severe spinal stenosis, arthritis from neck to buttocks, have broken five ribs in past 2 years, had a rib resection due to a bone cancer scare and have shrunk from 6-2 to 6-0 and learned in January i had broken my back at somr point years ago

I was scheduled to have spacers inserted see Vertiflex Superion Implant, but the broken rib suffered on Valentine';s Day will likely cause a 4-6 week delay,

My driver, Mrs AV, may make hamptpn inn reservations for us for sunday as drive will take at ];east an hour. ssurgery cpuld be performed in early AM. Thankfully she loves to drive

procedure will be repeated higher on spine in early march.,
after that, will be very limited in 6-week recovery period

Oncologist told her mom today that chemo would probably make things worse, since she's not doing well. Said it was stage4, and nothing will take it away because it's spreading and growing so fast. Said that at best, it may help with pain. She's scheduled to do her first treatment tomorrow, and it's only every 3 weeks, but he said he's worried about her doing it. Pretty sure Tiffany said they're not even going to do radiation now, which is bull after putting a rod in her leg just for that purpose. I gotta go get the dog, she stayed last night to go to the Dr with them today. She's going to chemo in the morning, and I gotta pick her up and take her to her Dr. Afraid it's going to be dangerous for her doing it with her heart, breathing, and fluid she has built up.

The Hampton Inn in Trussville was really nice 20 years ago. Hopefully, it still is.

Stage 4 is just a number, it don't mean it's going to kill someone. If you're going to cry, then you sure aren't strong enough to waste time doing chemo. You hugging on mom while she's crying is stupid, you're gonna make her think this is seriously something to worry about.


Things my sil said last night when her mom finally was having a breakdown. I know that sounds almost unbelievable, like I'd make it up, but Tiffany said she uttered every word of that when her mom was crying last night. I know today when they were texting, all the sisters in their group, that she was being stupid. Tiffany asked if anyone had their life insurance info, and she responded that if they're going to talk stupid, then take her out of the conversation. Tiffany is pretty sure she was drinking last night when she was saying all the stupid stuff.

I reallly hate giving advice but I have the same family dynamics. Mom knows what is going on and Tiffany needs to know that. The best she can do is be as strong as possible and focus on her health and her mom's. It's hard to not address the trash going on around her but that is what she needs to do. In the end Tiffany needs to know she was the sanity in an uncertain time and in time, that's very important. If I over stepped , I am sorry but reading from afar, I know all to well what she is going through. Take care

Her mom isn't doing well tonight. Tiffany said she's on 5 liters of oxygen, and her oxygen level is between 60-70, and she's gasping for air.
