I think this is hairsplitting to some degree. Yes you can buy something similar at times to what the pros are carrying, but I think people sometimes don't understand that what's stamped on the club doesn't mean anything - much less the shaft, the grip, the loft, the lie, the bounce and the 50 other ways you can customize a golf club. Nobody in the top 125 is playing stock clubs.
I was just reading today that Callaway didn't have any left handed prototypes for Mickelson and had to handmake all of his irons at the cost of $5,000 per set. :blink:
