bruce is a good coach but not a great recruiter. yes he landed tobias. but we all get lucky. and the 3 game skid he limited pearl's playing time and gave it to maymon. yes maymon does a great job at rebounding and getting fouls but he misses his free throws. steven is just a smarter player and better defender

Nope, if you ask me Pearl gets my vote to remain until he retires in about 15 years or so. I am not going to listen to the Pearl haters on this subject, nope, not changing my mind. We have a top coach and excellent recruiter he is our best chance to win. Tennessee basketball is no longer an after thought and I like it that way.

Was it an afterthought just 2 coaches ago when Tennessee was ranked number 4 and 16-1? How about when Tennessee nearly defeated North Carolina around 10 years ago in the tounament? Or when they defeated UConn?

Did he get lucky when he got Scotty Hopson? Can we all just quit whining like a bunch of cry babies and making points that are irrelevant!

It is christmas break, alot of teams have irrational losses. I was at a game in LV where UNLV got destroyed by UCSB even though the score was alot closer it was winter break and the focus wasnt there and you could tell, doesnt mean the team is bad nor Lon Kruger should be fired. When the team gets back to a normal schedule on the new year, we will get back to basics and trust me you will be on thie site, claiming CBP should be SEC Coach of the Year.

Bruce Pearl is a great coach that has done a remarkable job. Yes, the man made a mistake and no one out there can say that you would have done this or would have done that cause you weren't in the situation. This is a single incident. He does not run a dirty program nor is a terrible recruiter. Wayne Chism ring anyones bell. I do believe that he turned out to be pretty good. Not sure, might want to check the stats. We need to be backing our coach and wishing for the best instead of slamming a guy that has made you all proud to go to work and say that you are a Tenn. fan and wear the shirts and put the logos on the car. Trust me when I tell you before he got there it was a lot harder walking around during basketball season a Tenn. fan in Louisville, ky. So why don't we all relax and wait until the NCAA comes down with their decision and then show our support. GO VOLS!!!!

First of all, great first 31 minutes for Scotty Hopson, that's as good as his Pitt performance. Not scoring the last nine minutes is uncalled for, hopefully he will keep playing like the first 31 though. Brian Williams playing like his old, soft self just like I said a week ago and everyone backed him up.

But, this was another terrible game by our team, and once again Bruce showed his skills tonight, playing his son the final 4 minutes of the game. Thank god we have Tobias who showed up in the last part of the game and took it over. A win is a win though.. just can't wait for the NCAA to hand down it's ruling so these shinanegans can be over.
