Quarterback play is killing us we need to hope one of the freshmen is better and will get a chance.

Despite the FL loss I thought the team progressed ever so slightly. I thought they regressed today. I have been underwhelmed by the coaching. Not much over achieving going on.

No chance vs Ga, Ala and SCar. Slim chance vs Auburn, 50/50 chance vs Mizzou and Vandy, 60/40 chance vs Ky.

I agree on Ga and Ala, but surely we have a slim chance against Scar. Vandy and KY should be wins with about 50/50 on Auburn and Mizzou. I believe we end up 6-6 with a slim possibility of 7-5. If Butch can't get 6 wins, we are in serious trouble in the years to come.

SC has looked vulnerable at times this year and it's at Neyland; keep in mind that I said slim chance. Vandy is also in Knoxville, and they are just not very good. Surely we will have some of our issues worked out by then :unsure:

Problem is nepotism. Coaches bring in their own staff and end up sometimes with the "Peter principle" with some staff.

I still have the last win vs them on vhs tape. Wasn't it the final Fulmer Spurrier matchup at the Swamp?

That was such a great freaking game.

Seems like many years ago...cuz it was.

I am not impressed by Butch Jones' coaching thus far.

His recruiting looks good though.

Maybe SOMEDAY we can actually beat Florida? Is that possible, or are they gonna do us like we did Kentucky all those years...25 in a row?

That's been the case for 5 years, and it's still amazing how many Tennessee fans are in denial over it.

The exact reasons can be debated and I guess at the end of the day are irrelevant, but any discussion about Tennessee football since 2008 begins and ends on that fact.

Great game. That was the last UT game my mother-in-law got to go to before she passed away.
