Time to go after SC commits?

No thanks, once was enough.

Even if it was only offensive signs, which idk why they’d draw the line there, what if that kept us out of the end zone twice? What if led them to call a blitz or a stunt on the play Hendon blew his knee out?

Nobody is saying there aren’t other factors, but it might go some ways toward explaining why that trash team beat two CFP contenders, both "scouted" by Michigan in preceding weeks, consecutively.

Another explanation is this this college football. Crazy ish happens every year yet people are still surprised.

We can play awful on defense AND have been at a disadvantage from Michigan’s cheating. They are not mutually exclusive concepts, and it doesn’t have to be a black and white thing.

But yeah college football is crazy. Unexplainable things happen all the time. -Michigan Athletic Director, prolly.

The whole thing has been about stolen offensive signs. Vols scored 38 vs them.

In what way did that make Rattler pin point accurate and Juice Wells un-coverable?

That being said, Beamer is a recruiter only. Not a serious HC.
They probably had defensive signals also. 9 TDs in 10 possessions

what was Hyatt against Bama 6 catches for 5 TDs, 200+ yards. did we steal Bama's defensive signals to know how to get Hyatt open?
No, Tennessee constantly matched Hyatt on the Bama safety that wasnt exactly good at Man coverage. Tennessee hit Hyatt for big plays vs LSU, KY, Missouri, Vandy, etc. Tell me the game before or after where SC offense operated with even similar effiency.

SCAR has a good class currently assembled despite their bad year.
They have 5 highly ranked prospects. Not sure if they have any good recruits that are underrated by the services.

I think some of their current players would be more interesting. Too bad their current on-line is swiss cheese.

I stand by my statement. Our 2024 recruits are better than South Carolina's.
I never said theirs were better but they have good prospects committed. SC's season is dog $hit and who knows, some could be interested in flipping to the Vols.

Good grief. Our secondary was horrible last year. They got burnt in a consistent basis. Let’s say SC had all of our defensive signals. Doesn’t Rattler still have to complete the passes? Why was our tackling bad in that game? Why was our DBs out of place? Did signals have to do with Juice Wells absolutely schooling our DBs? Answer? No.

Get over it. SC played a great game and we came out flat and unfocused. We got beat by a better team that day. Plain and simple.

Based on what exactly?
I think he played a lot when he was young so he's experienced. We don't really know how he's been the last two years because Beamer attached himself with a more talented QB with an attitude problem. If he wants to be coached by Heupel and provide an older player in the QB room, it could be good to have an older player in the room with 2 talented young players.

Luke Doty would be an interesting transfer QB to consider.
