his attempt at being the Savior of the South in the face of last week's destruction.
Pretty sad testament of you that you would mention this. I live near apison, tn and if saw the devastation you would be applauding anyone trying to help those in need. Some times Tennessee sports isn't everything and right now is one of those times. Plus nothing is going on right now for him to tweet about. Hopefully you will never need people like Rucker to tweet about How people can help you after a devastating event

Your right. But the main point is Rucker use to tweet about UT news all the time. Now or since he changed jobs he wants you to pay for TN news. Even his radio show is about mainly trivia crap. premium. God Bless the Storm victims. My family and I give to the United Way and the Red Cross. But I didn't need a sports journalist to tell me to.
Let me know the next time Rucker mixes sports ( except Cubs or soccer sh!t) in his tweets. Your comparing Big Oranges to little apples. But keep following him. Who stopping you?:whistling:Someone call ESPN and tell them to drop the Bin Laden headline.
And we'd better call Martin and have him go ahead and bag up oUTlive. We don't need to mix sports and charity.

You're right, I haven't seen any of the affected areas. The friends I have in the Birmingham area dropped the ball on that one and didn't even mention the next neighborhood over from them that was wiped off the map.Pretty sad testament of you that you would mention this. A million and a half times, no less. It's great that he's a charitable fellow, and that he doesn't mind reminding you that he is.Your right. I've never followed anyone on Twitter because I have a life and real friends.

Different uses IMO.Haha! I think Twitter kinda sucks. I have one, but I just use it to follow athletes. I've never tweeted and I don't intend to. My Facebook statuses get to way more people and it's so much easier and more functional. Twitter is just ripping off Facebook and it offers only a fraction of what Facebook can do.
I'm not big in the social networking scene. The last thing I want is all those people I used to hang out with 15 years ago happy to see me when I could care less...
Me either. I don't get it. Facebook probably has some legitimate use, I've not found it, but its really just the typical herd mentality, the "everybody else has one" thinking. Twitter can probably be useful if it was used as a news breaking source, but its primarily for losers trying to live with celebrities through their mindless comments.
