All you old timers need to get on board and support CBJ decision. I think the new uniform looks good and from what I hear,the team love them.At least your Metamucil is still orange. :) I haven't made a new thread in a while so I decided to go with this subject.

yeah. Nice and original thread. Wouldn't want to make another thread about something that has been rehashed in 379 other threads since Wednesday.

That's always a good idea. "I haven't spoken for awhile, so....I think I'll call out the "old timers.'" This could end poorly.

Well, I'm on "old-timer" and I've heard alot of varying opinions on the new uniforms. I'm being open-minded and support doing something different ... in moderation.

One game...make it special.

But...we are ORANGE and that is who we will always be. Understanding that today's players are different than they were just a few years ago, if changing things up once in a while gets the "juices flowing" and can bring a little more adrenalin, then go for it.

But NEVER stray from our roots, and NEVER try to be something we're not meant to be, ala Oregon and their confused identity.

But - be careful with timing and performance in these new uniforms, as a blowout wearing them will not bode well for anything like this in the future. If the team wants them to continue, they will have to represent them well.

Looking forward to an ever-stronger VOL future with CBJ, and can't wait for the 31st.

GO VOLS!

This. As I stated in one of those other 379 threads, I don't like the gray uni and it isn't a tradition thing, I just don't think it looks good with the designs and against a white helmet. Just my personal opinion though. All that matters is wins. I just don't think this is going to be the season we see those wins. Next year however with all the great recruiting I think we can see real improvement in this team. Wins matter above everything else. We can wear crimson and white with numerals on our helmets. If we win, I wouldn't care.

also, at least half of the 379 threads have 5 or more comments about the thread having been created already. So I think you're number is a little low. I'd put the over/under at 2164 and still take the over personally.

Ironic. I see people thanking you for your service while you see fit to dis me for being old - old enough that I served in Korea and old enough to have been a Vol fan for more than 60 years. Come up with some more insults the next time you get out of your sandbox.
