Really wish he would have stayed. He made the best decision from a career perspective, but the amount of OT's being taken right now has got to be sickening to him. I think the upside of Tiny is better than most being taken.

Morgan Moses was a 5 star (at one point #1 overall HS player)

Tiny will be alright

Nah, I'm just an average Joe who uses his eyes.

Humble too! :) I didn't read many projections in December that had him being available late 3rd rd. Even so, injuries are a risk and if I guy can go top 3 rounds and his family is on tough spot, can't fault him. Clearly he could have come back and possibly helped his stock, but it goes the other way too. Ask Aaron Murray for example.

Almost every projection had him 3rd round, going to Miami mostly. Might have been different in preseason, but after the Christmas no one said 1st 2 rounds.

Tiny should of stayed. He left a lot of money on the table.

If what's keeping him from being drafted is a him knee (as is being reported), then leaving now was the best move. One more year of wear and tear on a bum knee would most likely see him go even lower.

After Christmas. He made decision first week of Dec iirc. Like I said, he could have come back and helped himself but also could have been injured or slipped further. At the time it looked like good decision and I believe he was thought to be 2nd rounder. If he. slips to 4th he is in trouble but either way he is making $ and if family is in need, its good call. I remember thinking Witten made bad decision too, but he went rd 3 and has had great career. Tiny at one point was thought to be first round pick. At the time he left it was within reason to think he could be chosen in first 2 rounds. I wish he stayed but I get why he left.

For example: Michael Munoz. I agree with you, he ran risk coming back.

Surgery has advanced like crazy nowadays.

Still a risk. Huge guy with bum knee. His career, his knee, his call. Think about it, he would have been higher pick last draft, which proves he could have slipped again. No sure thing. He made call first week in Dec and thought he could help his stock. Makes sense to me.

CyKo got knocked out of the 1st with health issues but he's been drafted. Either he's way more hurt than we know (and when/how did that happen?) or there's a bit more to it. Sometimes the NFL frowns on underclassmen jumping too soon.

I don't know what's going on but a player being seen as worrying about possible injury can be read by scouts/teams one of two ways: 1. smart decision protecting yourself/going to the draft 2. oh you're selfish/don't care about your team. There's not a whole lot a player can do to make sure they're interpreted the way they want to be (judgement calls not based on stats or performance abound in the combine/interviews).

What I would worry about as a scout is if it's indeed injury then why should I spend money in an injured player when I can grab one without health issues? If I need an OT/OG now why should I pay you to sit/heal?

Wow, never would have thought Tiny would go at least 3 rounds with no one selecting him. I figured he would have been a late 1st round or early 2nd.

Yeah, starting to think there is something we dont know. I for one didn't see this kind of slide. I saw early 3rd worst case.
