Tired of FSU

The committee chose who they thought the best 4 teams are. When FSU plays Georgia in the Peach Bowl all these whiners we see why. Georgia 42 - FSU 13. Already excited about the Vols upcoming season. 12 team play off, 6 SEC teams or more in the 12, we will dominate this scenario for a long time.
The committee didn’t even choose the best 4 teams by leaving Georgia out. They’ve been the best all year long and they lose to bama by 3 and they get kicked out… nah I’m not buying it… the corruption is obvious with the media siding with Florida State, until the committee made there choice and they sided with the committee.. The whole point was to get Alabama in to win the playoffs without facing Georgia again. Because we all know Alabama will beat Michigan.. it’s always been that way for Bama, they got away with years of cheating…

Here’s one more little tidbit to consider. The FSU QB got hurt in week 11. If the committee thinks that FSU is a “different team” without him, why didn’t they move FSU down to 5th or 6th right after he got hurt? They were just as “different” in week 12 as they are right now. But nooooo, they had to wait till the final poll and use it to justify putting Bama and the SEC in over them. Again, inconsistent and arbitrary. It’s always been a joke and it continues. This one is the worst.
Still waiting on a answer to this question. Anybody?? It doesn’t seem to me that the injury was much of a factor in the ranking when the kid got hurt. They didn’t move FSU down then. Only after they had to figure out an excuse to put Alabama in.

Maybe they didn’t know FSU wouldn’t be very good w/o Travis. Maybe they gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them 2 weeks to prove themselves before they realized they weren’t very good. Or maybe they were waiting to see FSU’s backups be Cardale Jones and destroy Florida and Louisville . But they didn’t, far from it. What did happen was that Bama beat a team that had won 29 straight games and back to back national titles in a conference championship game. Because Bama was a 1 loss top 10 team and UGA was #1 the SEC title game was a quarterfinal. The same with the PAC12. It sucks, but that’s basically what happened .

This was my thought as well. They didn't make up their mind until FSU struggled with Louisville. Had FSU even won convincingly I think they would have had FSU at 4 in the final poll and that was why they didn't drop them sooner.

The chance of Georgia 3-peating would have been bad for the game. Unlike Georgia the past 3 seasons, Alabama can occasionally be beat in the regular and post season. So the lesser of two evils.

I don’t think the committee was wanting to leave FSU out if they were undefeated. I’m sure they were hoping like hell that Jack Plummer doesn’t throw that pick in the end zone and Louisville scores and wins. As I’ve pointed out multiple times about this topic, Louisville screwed FSU by losing to Kentucky the week before. Clemson, Miami, and other ACC teams didn’t live up to their end up of the bargain. The ACC was the weakest Power 5 conference and when you combine that with Travis’ injury, the ugly wins vs ok, but not great teams, it creates a perfect storm .
