I can imagine, but I think VY had to be lookin pretty good coming off that title game.

I didn't really pay attention to the draft back then. I usually waited until the season to start caring about the titans.

That certainly didn't hurt, you are right. But to me that was his "comming out party". I thought the rest of the league was in trouble the years to come. Boy was I wrong.

Not really. He had an awkward throwing motion and an ego. Plus he came from a Texas program that's had several flops.

The only guy that has come out of Texas in the past 15 years and lived up to his billing has been Brian Orakpo. Jamaal Charles was undrafted but he's a pretty good RB for KC.

If you're a star at Texas, you're pretty much guaranteed to suck in the NFL.

I hate Texas. It's just pretty obvious that a giant football school like that wouldn't have everyone bust except one guy.

As for the last part, do you realize what you're saying?
"Everyone busts except one guy"
"No, look at these 9 other guys who didn't"
"Well, I can find 5 busts."

That makes sense, because Mack Brown sucks. Still has nothing to do with living up to their billing in the NFL, nor has it made them any less of a first round pick factory...

Mack Brown sucks? I hope Dooley sucks then, 2 NC appearances, 10straight 10 win seasons. Every school has their busts. Ayers, shuler, Harrell, Jason Allen. Haynesworth, price, Henry, and stalworth are all blackeyes for the program.
