If we get Lawless, Litaker, Emerson, Johnson and Teague, all in-state kids, plus Martinez, I think 2018 could be that Top 5 class

Not sure we are getting Johnson. Doesn't seem too interested in us right now.

This has got to help with Teague some since they both play for Blackman..gonna have a Vol in his ear a lot more now.

He has said many time he wants to be a HC. People in the business arent like fans. They realize what happened with Shoop last year doesn't make him a bad DC when he has been a top defense every year before that. Resume speaks for itself. They know where the blame goes for last years late season failures. Injuries and coaches that weren't his. He will be much better this year running his own system with coaches willing to coach his way.

I have never heard him say he wants to be a HC. Where has he said that? Just going by his demeanor and personality I don't see a head coach. I could be wrong.

In several interviews last year. I think he has HC potential but can agree some there with you that his ceiling is higher as a DC. He would have to go mid level and work way up to prove it. To me Larry Scott and G have the most potential on our current staff in terms of Being a HC. I would love for Scott to be the guy here at some point in his career

Ok cool I had never heard him say that. I think Scott's career is all up to him, he proves himself this year with a new QB he will get a few HC offers in the off season.
