'21 TN ATH Andre Turrentine (Tennessee signee - Transfer from Ohio St.)

This describes basically every single recruit and transfer. I guess we shouldn't get excited about any of them.

Wrong. We went hard after Isiah Neyor. Why? Because he had documented production. Are you saying there is no difference between Neyor and a WR that has spent a year at Bama but never played? Sorry there is a big difference.

I hope the dude works out.

I don't know if some people realize why it's so important to get transfers with multiple years of eligibility. Last years class is pretty much a wash at this point. We have 9 players left from the '21 class. That has to be offset somehow. Getting a 4* at a position of need, with 4 years of eligibility sounds like a big win to me.

Plus some game experience and an entire year at one of the top programs in the country.

It's obviously a very solid get.

Meaning, you would you have taken Isiah Neyor over Jameson Williams...a terrible move.

One of your dumber hills, Train.

No one is saying that. But even Callahan said he could be in strong contention for a starting spot.

Take away all the rest of the noise - isn't someone capable of starting, or at least being a strong backup (here), exactly what we needed? Those are exactly the types we've been honing in on with the portal.

You're hardly going to find any "can't miss players" this late in the portal cycle, but this is the next best thing. Pruitt's penalties have left us in this position. Doing with it the best we can.

I hope he becomes a solid player for us.

He really is the most clueless poster on here. The same guy that had a man crush on JG and swore every year was gonna be his breakout season. We saw how that turned out. Dude is cluelss AF.

Remember when OSU fans thought Joe Burrow was no big loss? Fans can be wrong.

C'mon now....... that is just plain not true. Joe Burrow was, and still is loved by OSU fans. Nary one word said from any posters on their MB's negatively. He just happened to break his hand in his battle to win the starting QB spot to a QB who broke all BIG10 records, the late Dwayne Haskins.

There would still be no guarantee.

I believe he will be a productive safety here as he was one of the best players in OSU's spring game. Dude just couldn't crack the 2-deep rotation as they have so many highly talented players. Really like this kid and he has 4-years.
