What? I want to Tennessee to win, that’s why I’m upset we hired a coach who isn’t going to get it done in my opinion. I hope he ends up being great I’ll admit I was wrong. For the record Pruitt is the worst coach in the history of our university.

From a coach who got here less than 5 months ago to take over a complete mess from a 3-7 season, the NCAA hovering overhead, and a Dead period that started during the Dark Ages. He’s had to start relationships from scratch while fending off negative recruiting from every other program out there. Oh, and we may have an organization working against us according to @JacketVol who I trust heavily.

None of these are excuses, these are all facts that any reasonable person can see, but your not in the business of reason, are you redneck?

Over here shouting the same message!!!!! Don’t think anyone is claiming we have arrived already. We may flop. We may be mediocre. We may rise from the ashes. Who knows. Anyone with sense knows we in a bad bad spot. With a lot of work to be done. You are no longer “stating facts”. You are pushing your agenda now. You are in every recruit thread with the same thing.

I’m just stating the obvious. Kentucky shouldn’t be poaching our instate recruits they should get our leftovers instead they’re kicking our asses

That’s where we are. We are bottom of barrel. As fans we don’t see it that way. Put aside the fandom and love of UT for a minute. Why would anyone want to be on The Hill? Hate it. But that’s “the facts”. Fortunately I feel most things in life are cyclical. College football will make a turn at some point. Hopefully we are riding a wave up from the out bottom.

I’ve been hoping the tide would turn at some point since it’s always been cyclical. But it’s getting old seeing Alabama be dominant year in and out.

Agree. But they have probably the greatest coach of all time. We are in an all time low (at least my lifetime), while they are as high as they’ve ever been.

Heupel has just got here while Stoops has been there to build the relationships. Heupel is going to keep it real and told Destin he won't be a QB and UK did the same until they missed out on all their QB targets. D'Arco still has not committed to Kentucky, as TCU is very much in play. TCU is known for developing DBs and have a great defensive coach. Still have had no visits this class because of the dead period. This class is going to be meh, but the 2023 class has a lot of potential is looking like it will be loaded.

It's a bad look, for sure, and I do mean on him. Not throwing rocks at D1, but he occasionally says things he shouldn't.

I'm not hard wired into that loop, but I do keep my ears open, and not once has there been an allegation of any card carrying communists on your staff. Good Americans all, imo.

Sometimes things work out. Sometimes they don't, and we been in that second group for a while. No secret there. I'm not jumping up and down, shouting about our new staff, but they make a good impression. I think Tennessee Football will uptrend.
