He played a good game. Not much you can do when you get the ball and have 2 defenders in your face. They spyed him the whole game and he still put up over 100 yds. I’d say that’s pretty dominant. To include scoring one of the touchdowns. He couldn’t dominate a good 1A team. I’m a SP fan. But he didn’t dominate. Is he legit?
Eddie put up 200 plus against trousdale in losing effort in 1998. I expect that from a dominant top rated guy.He played a good game. I was surprised you guys stopped Taylor after Cloudland 2 RBs rushed for 180 and 177 against you last week. Last weeks game really helped you for the Championship game. After what SP went through this year it was cool to see you win it all.Great win for the pirates. Glad to bring that gold ball back home again. #7 will grow into his shoes next year. Sp #2 should have just lock up mr. Football with that game. #75 and #57 played lights out for us. Great game McKenzie. Should see you in chatt next year

I feel we matched up better with McKenzie than we did cloudland. I was having flashbacks of union city when we was playing cloudland last week. Cloudland just ran the wildcat with a huge line and huge blocking backs and it was 3 or 4 yards every single time. It’s hard to stop that. Also flashbacks of 2018 whitwell. McKenzie had a great team but I also think we matched all of their athletes player for player minus the line. 9 times out of 10 I would have been cussing our o line but they played very well and picked up the blitz very well too. Hopefully stone will get the job but I don’t see it happening. To much drama from back in the day that we won’t get into.
Congrats....couple of my cousins played for Cloudland this year.I feel we matched up better with McKenzie than we did cloudland. He was pretty good against South Pitt. I went in person to the game and 2 things really stood out. He looks way bigger in person than when I watched his highlights early in the season. The 2nd thing is he has amazing burst. South Pitt was all in on stopping him, but he still had really good game and you can definitely see the potential.
Side Note: Gio Davis lost some weight and his body looked really good. Was moving around a lot better than last year
I'm a little concerned how much he likes contact. He definitely has the speed but I thought the kid from SP was the better RB.He played a good game. They didn't want to leave the heaters on the sidelines...them SP boys were more worried about staying warm then stopping Cloudland lol. I love the old school mentality of the Cloudland Offence reminds me of the single wing.I was surprised you guys stopped Taylor after Cloudland 2 RBs rushed for 180 and 177 against you last week. Long way till next year but this Staff is probably showing these 2023 cruits where we're headed....

South Pittsburgh were no slouches this year. State Champs obviously, but they also played tough with the best overall team in the entire state in Oakland for about a half.I hope he improves. But if you can’t handle South Pitt better than what he did… I just am not sold if he has SEC speed and quickness. But hey if the coaches like him and think he can play, bring him on board. I’m not the one he’s gotta impress for a scholarship.
Oakland won it back to back unless Summit won it at a lower levelSouth Pittsburgh were no slouches this year. State Champs obviously, but they also played tough with the best overall team in the entire state in Oakland for about a half.
That Oakland squad beat a 2 time defending Champion from Mississippi. They beat Maryville and defending state champ Summit Spartans.
There was some speed and toughness on that South Pitt team, and football is a team sport. Taylor is one dude, and he looked plenty explosive against them.
