Didn't take me long to find the dumbest thing I'll read all day. We haven't done anything in 10 years and you act like kids should be beating down the doors to get in. I trust this staff's evaluation of talent way more than ol Butchy boy. I could care less about class rankings. Look where USC has been with all those top 10 and top 5 classes. Player development is way more important. Boise state makes a pretty good living in the top 25 with "crappy" classes. They've beat teams that we haven't. I think you got food poisoning yesterday and clouded your mind.

And what conference does Boise St play in?

Have you actually watched Grimes play in person? Watched him on each play in an actual game vs. guys that might play at Tusculum College if they are lucky, and do nothing?

You don't have to be an elite scout to see the results. Some schools/staff fall in love with potential and measurables. OU can afford to do that. UT doesn't have that luxury. CJP needs guys that can help now. JMO

Yep...Matthew Butler had more sacks than that his SR year of HS...Heck commit Jimari Butler has 18 sacks iirc this year, after only playing one year of FB...against tougher competition..

not sure why you quoted me in this? Pruitt saw Tamarion, Bryson, and French in person and offered. I dont think he would have offered had he not liked all of them. 25 schollies, albeit is dumbest rule in history, makes you plan.

If you want hard hitting facts on WT, you need to consult the Oracle at Dyersburg.

This has no bearing on Grimes. Staff just wasnt awed.

There are at least 8 other players I like from this crop of Tennessee recruits over this guy. I'm sure he's a good kid but he isn't the best football player in Tennessee, hell he's not even the best football player on his team.

The staff did not make him a priority, nor did many others in the SEC. There's just something not right with this kid and his ranking, it just doesn't make sense.
