Careful, your mantra this morning was pointing out how horrible McGill was for putting down kids that commit to other schools.

Reminding everyone what you say about kids that commit to TN, probably wouldn't help your newly promoted martyr status.

If I ever call a kid that committed to UT horrible or bad, it will be the first time.

Does it really matter at this point? They've beaten teams that we can't, obviously that's over your head. Just think, a school from a "lower quality" league has a better resume over the past ten years than we have had. That's just an honest evaluation. How much time have we spent ranked this decade?

There are at least 8 other players I like from this crop of Tennessee recruits over this guy. I'm sure he's a good kid but he isn't the best football player in Tennessee, hell he's not even the best football player on his team.

The staff did not make him a priority, nor did many others in the SEC. There's just something not right with this kid and his ranking, it just doesn't make sense.

If this staff didn't make him a priority that should speak volumes. I trust their evaluations of talent over anyone's on this board.

Agree with that. It's just my opinion that we need as much talent as possible. If he is good enough for OK, then he should be here too. Last time I checked, the Sooners are still a top tier program.

While agree with this that we are in no position to turn away talent we also are in no position to take low effort athletes as well. If you have gotten a chance to see him play it is pretty obvious along with his stats that he is a very low effort player. I posted on this a couple of weeks back after watching his team play. More than likely this is why he was a pass for every major program in the south minus USCe and Vandy. OU may feel like they can work effort out of him. The athleticism is there for him to be successful if so.

His film was a major disappointment for a 5* player and almost all the big time schools passed on him.

A birth in the playoff..he has figured out who he is and who he will become in the future.

The problem is this staff has not been able to secure a top delinemen from none of the 52 states including Canada that is Elite
