I didn’t say a damn thing about recruiting MAC talent, but go on with your straw man.

Not all talent is the same in every system. And not all SEC talent is rated 4 or 5 stars by dweebs running a recruiting service.

Sam Pittman has done a remarkable job turning Arkansas around quickly. How do you think he did it? What was Arkansas’ average recruiting ranking the last 3-5 years?

Thats very good argument!!!!! Facts!!!

ATH KODY JONES

A four-star prospect from Germantown (Tenn.) High School, Jones is a longtime Tennessee target who has been committed to Michigan since early February. He didn't get a chance to visit the Vols under first-year coach Josh Heupel's staff before announcing his commitment to the Wolverines, but Tennessee has continued recruiting him since then and got him back to Knoxville for an unofficial visit in June. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Jones has continued to discuss a possible official visit with the Vols that could happen in November, and while he has maintained that he's still firmly committed to Michigan, he's at least keeping the door somewhat open for Tennessee, which gave him his first offer in October 2019 after the Vols' former staff hosted him on a pair of visits. Illinois also hosted him on an official visit in June, and he added an offer from Florida in late June.

DB Kody Jones: The four-star Tennessee defensive back has been committed to Michigan since February, but he has sniffed around other programs, including Illinois. He took an official visit to Illinois in June and then followed up with an unofficial visit to Champaign later this fall. Tennessee also is in the mix and could get a visit. The Illini have gotten good feedback as strength coach Tank Wright has some close ties to Jones and Cory Patterson has pushed hard and made some inroads.
