he might. seems enamored with Deion. sucks, we need need an elite class to take the next step. Unless something changes, I just dont see this class rounding the good corner to being great. Just too many key misses, inexplicably.Seems like some posters on VQ are dead set he is gonna flip.
Thank youvisits for fun happen often, even on one's own dime. trust me, he ain't paying for much even if it's UOF. End of the day we are all fans of football and he's there to take in a fun atmosphere and then come home to the sec.
being less possessive is a helpful mentality with recruiting (& life..). No one actually knows why people do what they do and projecting your imagination on a 17 year old is a strange choice. "I wouldn't take a visit to another school if I was committed to X, I wouldn't cheat on my wife" yeah dude! ok. you're like 40 and the most exciting part of your week is grocery shopping @ wegman's, you could not be further from a top 100 high school football player being called every single day by DEION F'N SANDERS, NICK SABAN, CJH, ETC... I mean, get out of Chattanooga and see a bunch of new places? Get a photo op with one of the greatest to ever play the game? Sure, sounds cool... life ain't just being a commit to a school...
What if he goes over there and convinces someone to commit to TN? Now it becomes a good visit? Personally, I like when our commits (and recruits in general) take a lot of visits in H.S. Those kids tend to know they've made the right choice and are less of a liability to transfer down the road. I think maybe just let the visit happen and the most likely scenario plays out (Nothing at all, he remains our top recruiter)

I still remember the story of, I think it was Preston Williams, going to Auburn and recruiting for UT the whole time he was there, if I recall to the point that he was asked to leave…visits for fun happen often, even on one's own dime. trust me, he ain't paying for much even if it's UOF. So, I see that now this "he wants to play offense" BS is being revived.Boo won't make or break this class, but the concern he could flip is valid. From my understanding, Boo has some desire to play both ways. Colorado plays Travis Hunter both ways. Successfully. Not sure our staff wants to go that route. So if Deion pitches that to him, the appeal is definitely there. But, to reiterate, Boo does not make or break this class. I absolutely want him in it, but if he's not, we're still okay.
Other than that, the only other hit is the perception hit. It's not a good look when a player who has actively been recruiting for you decides to visit somewhere else. Other fanbases will jump on this to criticize. Just have to ignore them and realize, we're going to be okay.
