Had a bad foot injury at an all star camp August before his senior year (committed to UT the same day on ESPN). Didn’t play his senior year, learned and got back into shape his RS freshman year, he’s been running with the 2s behind Gooden. He moved to O line temporarily along with Kingston Harris last summer because of lack of o line in practice. They were both redshirting last year anyway

Abd when they aren't awesome we call them busts.

This situation will put some young guys in spot they're more likely to fail.

Others are more ready.

We'll find out who's who over the next month.

He's gonna have to stay healthy from now on and play good. I hope he can.

JJP and Emerson get so much grief that they aren’t all stars. Yet they both haven’t used one snap of eligibility (actually JJP returned a kick off against UK if I’m not mistaken, squib kick). Seems like people don’t understand what redshirt means

Nobody has forgotten that injuries are apart of the game. He’s just one of the 5 guys that people feel like we couldn’t afford to lose if we wanted to have a better than expected season. Anybody that freaks out about it isn’t mentally weak. I hope that post made you feel better about yourself, though!

Agree. It's time we catch a break and start landing more guys that can actually play early. We really need another impact player like Derek Barnett. We get one of those every few years. Bama gets 5 or 6 every year. Looks like Clempson is gong to have several as well.
