Auburn continues to work extremely hard on 4-star end Jay Hardy of Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School and thinks it has a shot, we're told. Right now, there is no doubt Tennessee is the favorite. Hardy likes that program an awful lot -- so much so we'd absolutely put our Crystal Ball pick on the Vols if he was announcing today. But apparently there are some in his camp that may prefer Auburn. The country's No. 5 strong-side end, Hardy told us earlier this week he plans to be in Auburn on Saturday. Let's see if he makes it. Auburn is talking -- and he is listening. But there is much work to do.
