That would be ok, if that is the case. If Pruitt truly tells recruits to take their visits and then fores an employee because his son went elsewhere would be a very bad look imo. Last thing we need when we have momentum is people spouting off that we will fire him if doesnt come here. IT doesnt look good. Again this is my opinion, but recruits do read

Maybe but it would be Bush league to fire him. I think Tyler is trying to manufacture drama around his commitment. I do think it will be Tennessee for him.

What kind of look does it give to other recruits when the son of a staffer goes elsewhere? I'm sure other coaches will use that against the Vols. I don't think his job should be in jeopardy over his son's choice but im sure it would be an awkward situation I suspect.

What about kids of former staffers that are still at UT? Does that cancel out what you just said?

The theory was that Baron was upset because everyone said he was a lock to TN because of his Dad working here. Well .. he should be happy now cause most VN posters now think he is going anywhere but TN.

BTW .. I still think he will be a Vol on signing day .. but don't tell Baron I said that.

I am certain that Baron will join the Navy because somebody said he was joining the Army because everybody thought he was going to play college football.

Wow. I don't support anyone losing their job, but what kind of look is it if the director of HS relations can't convince his own kid to come here? I feel bad for both father and son. That has to be a tough situation.

Tyler Baron & his Dad have a different last name. Brothers Jay Hardy & Kevin Cooper have different last names. Tee Martin & his son have different last names. Dale Carter & Nigel Warrior have different last names.
Relationships are not always what you think. On the other hand you dont have to be blood to be a great father. Please stop judging.

My gut tells me that Tyler Baron will be a VOL. If he is not, his father's job should be safe. BTW, we did not hire his Dad because of his son.
