I think the Gamecocks added a new wrinkle to their offensive plays or has this been the exact scheme they run?

No excuse for Willie to allow our secondary to be this awful. We had it to rank 1 with one of the worst secondaries in CFB.It was only a matter of time before someone figured out a way to exploit it effectively. Sorry man, you gotta go.

The coaching staff knew the Wildcat was going to be ran tonight.
They made no changes...Zone, play off the guy 10-15yrds. Same bend, don't break, well if metal keeps getting bent, eventually it fatigues and breaks.
That secondary is horrible. I know it's Jimmys and ]Joes but you can coach players up to be serviceable. I've seen no coaching up. Playing Zone and giving up 7/10 yards constantly and not being able to stop 3rd and forever for 2 seasons has got to be addressed and by addressed some changes on the Defensive staff has to be made...

They just didn’t execute well tonight. I’m not so sure they were caught off guard so much as South Carolina got off to a quick start, they kept the crowd involved, our offense was competent at times but playing catch up and reacting instead of being the ones getting the early momentum, and they were affected and making mistakes they usually did not. On defense we were regularly not in position to make plays in the secondary, and even when we were we were missing tackles or not finishing them. The line play even didn’t look as good as it normally does on both sides of the ball.

I got scorched a few days for acting like a nega Vol by purely speculating how we have history of making average and below average QB’s look great. I am not a nega vol, just citing history and concerns as a few days ago when we all had fun hoping we put 60 on the board. Well, that happened tonight 6 freaking TD’s tonight and 60 for the other team.

I think our defense will always be mediocre to poor with the style of offense we run. Even Alabama has taken a few steps back after going to the spread in the past few years. Granted it shouldn’t be anywhere near as bad as tonight but it’s not going be anywhere near Georgia anytime soon.
