Still unable to reel in the top recruits in the state. Its a shame. Mayes probably on the line talking to him. Clemson and Ga and I guess others coming in and poaching the talent. People look at Mayes, Rodgers, and Higgins and it is some of the worst losses for Tennessee recruiting and a recruiting tool for other schools as they see those guys soon to become pros.....back about 400 years ago Tennessee made a living by going in and poaching out of state talent. Now they are poaching ours and leaving us almost a bare cupboard......................................................................................just chew on that for awhile

DL is a need. and as it stands right now, all of our main targets are flips. Norton, Eboigbe, and Walker.

i think we recruit all of them as hard as possible and hope one flips.

today he (Pruitt) was in Memphis to see Georgia defensive line commit Bill Norton and Michigan tailback commit Eric Gray. The Vols continue to trend with Gray and have at least gotten in the door again with Norton.

I thought he could be a good OL, but as he’s progressed SR year it’s obvious he will be a premier D-end. Especially in multiple front defenses. Could get lots of run down snaps right after getting his jersey here.

Per a poster on VQ, who claims to have a friend who coaches Norton, TIFWIW:

"Pruitt is working his ass off to flip Bill and he might very well have done it. Before everyone freaks out Norton sounds all Dawg in everything I have seen. It's a believe it when I see it deal to me. Also said that UGA might want him to move to OL."
