'19 TN DL Zion Logue (UGA Commit)

I don't buy it. Same thing can be said about Norton given that he is a higher rated dline recruit. I don't think we have much of a shot here given Zion's butthurt tone regarding the late offer. And I don't really think it's butthurt either. I think it's just an excuse for a team that he was not a fan of growing up, but will have local pressure to take a look at us.

Also I wonder if Price would say the same about Davis and Cade last class. In the end you need the kids that want to be here. For every great one we miss, we will have a chance with another.

I've heard Tennessee isn't even really a factor here any longer.

We are still recruiting him, just think he likes UGA simple as that.

So there have been recent crystal ball picks to UGA and Ole Miss who offered 3 days and 2 weeks before UT respectively, yet his beef with UT is that we offered late? Sounds like an excuse for liking anybody BUT UT.

Well I mean he IS an in-state kid. I think him having more beef with UT offering late makes sense. Maybe not as much beef as he seems to have, but still.

I will be surprised if he has a legit Georgia offer at the end of the day. He would be the first they cut if they hit it big again.

Yet the instate schools like Bama, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, etc can hold off until late to offer someone, but when they do, the recruit salivates over the offer and commits immediately? Forget these pansy, whiney instate recruits, who feel like TN owes them something special, minus Knox who came and earned the offer. I can respect him. Tired of their drama! We will be better off for waiting to offer some prospects based on how they look when they camp. Will have a whole lot less busts because of it. If you don’t want the privilege to play for your instate Vols, then leave. We will be just fine without you.

I’m with Newt...sign the best prospects we can get, whether they are instate, out of state, or out of the country.

Or it could sound something like this “Forget these pansy, whiney instate fans, who feel like TN high school football players owes them something special. Tired of their drama!

Having a hard time remembering the last time that losing an in state player to UGA actually burned us. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but until it does they’re all pretty much Marlon Brown/ Rico McGraw.

Oh yeah, I'm fine with not getting in-state players. If Pruitt and Co. can get better players from other states, I'm 100% down with that. I've never been a huge proponent of HAVING to sign in-state guys just because they're in-state guys.

That’s a lot of assuming off of just one harmless quote. Here’s an assumption, maybe he was never into Tennessee from the jump. I have teenage kids his age and they have never seen the vols be relevant and they think I’m crazy for pulling for them year after year. I’m sure that’s the way this kid is. Y’all need to chill tf out sometimes, the kids are the ones putting in the work and y’all act like they owe something to a team that has put trash on the field every Saturday their entire lives. While most of us know what a winning Tennessee football team looks like, the kids nowadays don’t. So do you normally overreact when things don’t go your way?

I am a Tennessee Volunteer fan because I am a Tennessean and proud of it no matter where I go, not because they have been great my whole life. People have no pride of place anymore.

It was a pretty simple and direct quote. Zero assumption needed

Not really too much of a poster but love the info and the rambling. I get what your saying but at the same time, some of these guys on here are alumni and others have put thousands of dollars and invested their hard earned money and time into the program. So yea, I don’t think you can say that they can’t feel entitled to the product put on the field. Any fan that goes to a game is invested in the program. Rather short sighted of you to be honest and your opinion is rather one dimensional. Anyways GO VOLS! Keep it guys! Y’all are awesome!
