'19 TN DL Zion Logue (UGA Commit)

Not really too much of a poster but love the info and the rambling. I get what your saying but at the same time, some of these guys on here are alumni and others have put thousands of dollars and invested their hard earned money and time into the program. So yea, I don’t think you can say that they can’t feel entitled to the product put on the field. Any fan that goes to a game is invested in the program. Rather short sighted of you to be honest and your opinion is rather one dimensional. Anyways GO VOLS! Keep it guys! Y’all are awesome!
They can feel entitled all they want about the product put on the field but they are not entitled to a kid just because he’s from Tennessee. By the way, I go to 2-3 games a year, my wife is an alum, and my nephew is a student. I want the kid to go to Tennessee but I’m not entitled to anything

Or it could sound something like this “Forget these pansy, whiney instate fans, who feel like TN high school football players owes them something special. Tired of their drama!

I don't think the instate players owe the fans or instate school anymore than the fans and school owe instate players. Living in a state or Beng born in one doesn't mean you have to pull for instate schools. I was born in Florida, lived all but 3 yrs of my school days in Tennessee and have since lived in Alabama for 20 + yrs. I didn't pick to be a fan of a state I was born in or one I've spent the most years in. I chose to be a Vol fan at 12. That was with having my real Dad be an Auburn Fan, My Mom A half hearted Vol, My Step Dad an Ohio St fan and the majority of my family live in Ala and are Bammers. And I chose to be a Vol before the Fulmer, Heath, Peyton and NC years. Everyone should choose their own way and not because a certain school was forced on them. Those typically seem to be the Bandwagon fans. The ones who have probably been fans of each of these at some point. TN, Florida, NDame, USC, Ala and the new additions Georgia football has suddenly added. Choose one team and stay loyal. I became a huge Braves fan ling before the '91 season and that ruo they had. I Didn't have a clue what the Braves winning felt like but same as with TN, I chose them and have never wavered from either.

Living in Ala I've seen so called Auburn fans suddenly become Bams after The Saban Era started. I've seen people I went to HS with in TN, who have become Ala fans. Most of them have never lived in Ala, didn't go to school there or even been to Tuscalooser or a game there. And not even have any ties whatsoever to Ala.

I don't have an issue with kids not going to their state school or just wanna get away from Parents and out of the state. We recruit a lot from Ga, Fla and N.Carol and the kids we get left their state schools too.W e will get our share of instate kids who wanna stay home and play for this staff or they are legacy players or just grew up a die hard VolFan. Players can't expect to be offered just because they are instate and recruits can't be expected to stay in state just because they play HS Football here. We damn sure don't want players here who don't wanna be here, we've seen way too much of that. Nothing good ever comes of that.

Has anyone on here seen this guy live? Read where recruiting services are adjusting him to a 4 star, but is he show off in shorts kind of guy or show off when the pads are on? Apparently he has done well camping for coaches but curious how he plays on gameday.

I know he didn’t make any of the all mid-state teams done by the Tennessean last year. He would have gotten plenty of exposure where he plays.

fwiw, this wasn't one of them.

I will this coming season but, being in my backyard, I've heard good things on and off the field, from people who've seen him play and know him. Only thing is that he has some very sketchy family members, none of which I'll get into, nor makes him any different than a lot of recruits.

All in all, he seems like a good kid.
