Can somebody tell me why this kid is ranked so low. His film looks outstanding. I sware most of the BS recruiting rankings are built by appearances at camps

Another important things that goes into rankings are the measureables. This kid is considered too short to be a prototypical DL henceforth he will get rated lower. For example a 6'4 or taller pocket passer will get a higher rating than a 6'2 QB who has a better arm and better accuracy because the taller guy fits the prototype. If this kid was 6'3 instead of 6'1 he would be ranked much higher.

He will make you feel him and he will be able to handle and move SEC lineman. Said he is a one trick pony right now buts it's a really good trick for what Pruitt wants.

Went on to say it fits the Pruitt profile right now. Pruitt wants big and physical kids that the rest of the SEC will feel us hit them when we play. Whether it leads to wins or not is TBD

He does play with heavy hands and I noticed that he does try to use some techniques, but it’s nostly just move whatever’s in front of him right now. 0 and 1 and see if that natural wiggle can lead to some third down pass rush. At least gobbling up two OL to give the others one on ones.

Most size appropriate guy we’ve had since Dan Williams.
