Just visited with Memphis' Kristian Williams and he's not sure if he's going to visit Tennessee this weekend. He said he hadn't heard much from the Vols as of late and wasn't sure if the visit was going to happen.
Williams has visited Minnesota, Memphis, and Indiana officially. He's scheduled to visit Oregon next weekend. Oregon, Indiana have been in home this week. Minnesota is coming tomorrow.

Sounds like we chose Cox over Williams if we are going to take another DL. Wright, To’oto’o, Russell, Harris, Cox and lets ride.Williams told me the Vols haven't visited him yet this week, but he believes they're "supposed to" be stopping by sometime soon. For now, though, he said he's "not sure" when that might happen. When I asked him whether he's still planning to take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend, he said he was "not even sure about that." Doesn't sound like he has heard a ton from the Vols lately, so things are at least a little bit up in the air for now.

We might be replacing Russell with Pickens potentially. I'm good with either, but I'll take a 5 star over a 3 star if it comes down to that. The rest seems to be right on.Sounds like we chose Cox over Williams if we are going to take another DL. Wright, To’oto’o, Russell, Harris, Cox and lets ride.
I wouldn’t say zero depth. We're hurting on the line. 0 depth or talent (except for Mich Transfer).
Was really hoping to get this kid.
Davis will likely fill the Darrell Taylor role. That is what Pruitt recruited him at Bama to be.On 247 for his juco says he’s 250. By 2020, 6’5 270 sounds real nice for a DE. That LB room will still be pretty full and adding Davis to the D line along with Savion, Gooden, Solomon, Emerson and Middleton would be pretty stellar
Here's why i like Kristian Williams over some other previous targets. Hes explosive, got violent hands. Also check my dog Elijah Simmons.
Quality of depth is the big question. Gooden player the most snaps of our returners in 2018, and he was a rotational player.I wouldn’t say zero depth.
Savion Williams
Emerson
Gooden
Middleton
Solomon (waiver pending
Butler
All those guys for 2 more years
Mincey
Garland
Elijah Simmons
Cox
Don’t forget Jordan Davis coming in 2020
True, a lot of what ifs. But if Pruitts eye for recruiting/ability to develop that talent has shown us anything in one year, i would think these juco guys+plus Emerson will be a huge help in replacing Alexis, Tuttle and KPhillipsQuality of depth is the big question. We’ve got plenty of bodies, we just don’t know how good most of them are yet.
