Really? Ron just brings positivity when many try to bring us down.

He also has to make a derogatory remark toward anyone who makes a comment that isn't a direct quote from another site or that isn't 100% positive no matter how true the comment is.

I’m fine with keeping Rocker. He is a good coach, even though he doesn’t recruit worth a damn.

But we’ve got to make up for it somewhere else. Need more recruiters on Staff.

How do you define good recruiting though? So far he’s doing fine. For instance Kurrot Garland and Middleton look like steals. Neither were heavily recruited but they were evaluated and coached up and we’re winning. Rocker is doing fine

Rocker doesn’t recruit. Not gonna argue that.

We’re “winning”? We’ve beaten the teams we are supposed to not have to worry about. Which is fine.... I’m glad we are.

Florida? Georgia? Alabama?

Gonna need more horses to run with those teams. The “coached up” Kurrot Garlands of the world aren’t going to take us to the top.

We need elite recruiting classes. Those require elite recruiters.

We have elite recruiters. We got several top players last year by selling playing time with great coaches. Not as much to sell this year and still got HB, KL and others. Win more and will get more.

No, they’re not. They are actually statistically relevant.

Especially in the aggregate.

But even at the individual level, higher rated recruits are statistically more likely to have success at the next level.

It’s been proven over and over again.

There is a direct correlation between recruiting rankings and on field success at the highest levels.

If you’re not recruiting elite classes (based on the RANKINGS) you’re not going achieve elite on field results.

Only ONE team has bucked that trend in the last 20 years. That was Auburn, and they had a once in a lifetime QB in Cam Newton.

Jay Hardy didn’t commit to Gus Malzahn. Believe that.

We're the tallest midget in the East. I can't name an SEC team we beat that isn't worse than they were in 2018. Some of those programs, primarily Missouri and SC, can move back up pretty quickly. We need some elite talent just to solidify our current position as third best in the East.

We aren’t winning at the level of those 3 right now. You’re also talking about the last 3 schools to win a national championship(s). I wish we were getting the top notch recruits but we may have to settle for a while. Btw it’s been well documented that Clemson has won with less talent than Alabama and Ohio state. Good coaching can change a team drastically. I’ll only add to that and mention hunter renfrow. the walk-on that made a huge impact for Clemson after being “coached up”

If we lose Hardy and Big O, Rocker needs to go. I think our D line has played well but we need elite talent to compete for championships. Back the truck up for Tosh.

Rocker not going anywhere.......UT is developing a system based on rotating. Best have yo'azz 10-12 quality OLinemen. Watch the 4th qtrs. of us playing UK and Mizzou. Our rookie, never played much, DLinemen were blowing dey azz off the line. Simmons, Garland, Blakely,......etc. Get the picture? We don't necessarily need Thomas.
