'20 TN DT Omari Thomas (UT SIGNEE)

That was before we had the early signing period. He's got two weeks to try and convince kids to sign or delay signing. Many are ready to sign and two weeks won't be enough time.

TN also hadn’t fallen that far at that point. We were still TN. Ole miss has never been TN. They’ve won 10 games exactly twice in the last 20 years.

You do not have to get them to sign in two weeks. You just have to keep them from signing in two weeks then you have eight weeks to convince them.

If we are going forward worried about the soon to be 6th best program in the SEC West, we aren't anywhere close to where we want anyway.

Kiffin will do fine for Ole Miss standards. Win some. Lose lots. They won't challenge the big 4 on that side consistently at all

Yes, just emphasizing if you can get them not to sign. That will be Kiffin’s strategy. Remember, “don’t go to class.”

I haven't forgotten that - I was never mad at Kiffin for leaving for his dream job (did get mad a few times when he took jabs at us) but when our fans fawn over Coach O (& I have pulled for LSU to beat Bama & GA), that sickens me. The SEC is undergoing a shake-up, and I firmly believe we're on the rise. I think - unlike Dooley or definitely Butch, Pruitt can develop as well as recruit. Kiffin can coach offense & he probably has learned a bit from Saban ab head coaching. As for the extent of cheating - we shall see. I feel pretty good having Coach "I know where the bones are buried" Fulmer as our A.D.

I’m not really worried either way. This year won’t be a problem. That said can you think of a coach that would take the Ole Miss job that is a better recruiter/staff builder than Kiffin?

Kiffin was given the keys to the kingdom at USC, one of the most historic programs on the West Coast, a program with endless resources in a division that only dreams of being as strong as the SEC West and he proceeded to get canned for not meeting expectations. I'm not exactly concerned with him.

I would be more worried about Kiffin snatching someone off of our coaching staff, like Coach Johnson, than any of our recruits this year.

Why would anyone leave our staff right as we're turning things around for a position at a program that's in much worse shape and in a much harder division? And before you say money, I highly doubt Ole Miss can outbid Tennessee if it's a coach Pruitt actually wants to keep.
