You go wherever pays the best, there are money and/or benefits changing hands already. High school athletics is insanely dirty regarding that.

I was an ok football player, would probably be a 3* in today’s rankings, and when we moved to Knoxville we had Oak Ridge, Maryville, and Farragut all telling us what “deals” they could get us to come to their area. Jobs they could help my parents with, all sorts of stuff.

It’s gotta be much worse for a player of his caliber
