'22 TN DT Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)

I’ve unfortunately lived in Georgia the last couple years for work (gross I know). But watching some of these games, these mid level squads would wipe the floor with the top of our state Maryville Oakland etc. Its the high school equivalent of SEC vs PAC-12

There is more talent in some other states, but individuals in Tennessee are just as talented as any others from said states.....there are just not as many of them.

Why is that so hard to understand for some people? Based on what y’all are saying is that the top 10 in Tennessee couldn’t make the top 100 in GA or FL? Absurd

It’s high school. This has been a very good game. I’m not impresssd with the game coaching but these teams are well coached on the practice field to play at this level.

Powell up by 15 had the ball around the 10 with a third and 7. They decided to throw, dumb move. The qb ran backwards and took about a 15 yard loss. You end the game with a fg.

You can have great physical talent (speed, size, strength) but I honestly would not waste a scholly on someone who doesn’t have the work ethic and desire. Not sure how latter is measured by Recruiters.

The only exception are sprinters. LOL
