CringeCan’t believe you people are questioning the integrity of A&M’s recruiting efforts. They’re the cleanest program in the SEC, just read the billboard:

I kind of like that Jimbo is taking an in-home with Nolen tonight. I interpret that as a sign Nolen is either wavering or sending mixed signals to the A&M staff following his official visit over the weekend with Tennessee. It looks like Jimbo didn't think he could wait until Nolen's upcoming visit to meet with him in person. I might be the only one here who thinks this, but I think Nolen is going to flip to Tennessee. We're not talking about a QB here. DTs get excited about playing with other elite DLinemen. Don't get your hopes up. He's an Aggie.
Honestly, what does it matter. He has National Championship on his resume. Only thing that really matters is how recruits see him. They obviously don't look at Jimbo the way some Vol fans do because at present, he's kicking our ass on the recruiting trail...
Sumlin had a Sarkisian problem. To be fair, Kevin Sumlin wasn't fired for how he performed in his first 48 games. It was his last 48 games that got him fired. Most people considered him one of the best coaches in the nation after 2012. Most of his success happened in his 1st 2 years with Manziel.
Last year for TAMU was probably better than any year they had under Sumlin, considering it was an all SEC schedule.
You may be right, but that seems a little wishful. Hope I’m wrong.I kind of like that Jimbo is taking an in-home with Nolen tonight. Who are these coaches that were supplanted by sub-par replacements? Better yet where do you place Pruitt on the scale of horrible to elite?Exactly man @m1al you hit it dead on. Besides Saban nobody else in the conference can say hey big guy I HC a NC team and look at this ring. The coaches in this conference now are very subpar due to idiot ADs and fans misconceptions of a good season and coach due to Saban standards.
I would be hard pressed to call many SEC head coaches subpar.Exactly man @m1al you hit it dead on. I tend to agree with you, but TAM has 4 5* DL committed in this class, another 5* for '23. So it's big fish vs another fish. Only so many reps available.A highly ranked recruit is probably confident enough that he isn’t scared or anything like that. If anything he’s probably excited to play with other highly ranked players.
2 ways to read this.
1. It's interesting that he keeps this door open. If I were an A&M fan, this would make me nervous. And this is why Jimbo's going in-home now.
2. It could also just be him never wanting to close the door to UT because he lives here. He doesn't want to piss off the locals and, by making quotes like this, he appeases them and makes them feel like they still have a chance.

Only way to read this is he’s playing one against the other.2 ways to read this.
