Ehh, not really. Fla with Trask averaged 378 yards passing and 131 yards rushing. 509 total yds of offense.
GA with JT Daniels averaged 308 yds passing and 193 yds rushing. 501 yds total offense.

More passing yards for FLA but Georgia under JT Daniels was quite similar.

This whole Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, etc., commits are overvalued because of which program they’re committed to schtick is getting old. UT has not been great in years. This means that UT’s recruits, as demonstrated by how they perform in college, aren’t as good as the Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, etc., recruits. There’s no grand conspiracy. Those are facts. So, yes, recruiting websites - to try to be accurate - pump up players who commit to those school because the recruit rankers know by that measure they’re probably pretty good. UT doesn’t get that deference now, same as most other programs. Nolen is a freak whether #1 or #72 and I hope he’s a Vol so we can start getting the benefit of the doubt with the rankers.

Deny it all you want but there have been too many recruits who have increased or decreased their star rating around the period that their commitment became known. Especially the drop in stars when players lean to UT.
