'19 TN LB Kane Patterson (Clemson commit)

Welp...

Not going to be having any more conversations about sensitive topics on here...

I'm not going to defend myself... I really respect Geaux on here and he just said "**** you" at me............ That kind of stung.

For the record... I've been consistent in every post...
1) Men should never lay hands on a woman for any reason (I don't know why Sleegro keeps emphasizing that she was pregnant like that makes the never acceptable thing LESS acceptable?)
2) The guy in question is clearly an ***hole
3) Their relationship was clearly toxic and volatile
4) He clearly physically abused her at least once

I don't know why we can't talk about things without people getting so riled up, but I'm good on it now and I'm sorry that my opinion on a thing isn't 100% in line with you guys'

/end of rant

I’m sorry for the **** you part. I learned a long time ago that arguing on the internet does no one any favors and have mostly stayed away from it. This got me, though. I love following this sport, being marginally involved in it, but there’s a small part of it that hates women. Just flat out hates them. I don’t think you hate women or anything, but I have just seen so much of it that it hard to distinguish motives. Regardless, i shouldn’t have stooped to that, and I apologize.

Sorry.

Man...

I've been called a "douche", "trash human being", "bolstering my depravity with logic and reason to come off as a level-headed thinker", "attacking the victim", picked up a couple ignores, and a "**** you"...

.......... all because I thought it was petty of the victim to file a charge against her ex-husband for pulling in the driveway, dropping a kid off, and immediately leaving... which, yes, was technically a violation of a civil restraining order...

I worded it very poorly in that first post, and I apologize for that...

I definitely don't hate women... Now, I do know how a scorned woman can be... and I've experienced it first hand... but I read up further on the other 9 claims and misinterpreted the first article I read... I thought they were saying she had called the cops 9 times since the divorce... turns out it was since they had been married and a few after the divorce, most were custody disputes, there was another while they were married where he grabbed her by the t-shirt, another was a kind of odd someone's trailing her one... other random stuff... I've don't have any sympathy for this guy now... going into that post, I read the article I quoted, assumed the other reports were for petty BS against her new ex-husband... I mean... i maintain that particular one was pretty petty... dude probably deserved it though

All good, no love lost here, sorry for riling VN up without doing due diligence... that dude deserves everything that comes to him

Thick skin. On a message board, everyone should have it. Never let the opinions of anonymous MB posters take you down.

From what I read on ESPN I would not be surprised if this blows over and Meyer keeps his job. But then again I am sure that the emergency room staff at Wexler OSU Medical Center are probably looking at who is the current cardiologist on call.
Dude it took ESPN almost 4 hours after every other sports media site to post it on their website. ESPN is not a reliable network anymore. **** died with Stuart Scott R.I.P.

ESPN is gonna be gun shy for a while after that Arizona debacle reporting that Sean Miller was gonna be fired.

They can still report Urban was placed on administrative leave without looking bad, I understand being an hour late to be sure but four? That’s downright negligent man.

This post is straight up butta and cool as the other side of the pillow.

Patterson is a good player. He dominates more as a rb in HS than at linebacker. Seems like a better player than the two FRA guys, but not as dominate as he should be against lesser competition. D2 A and AA players worry me. Chico Bennett (Ga Tech), Eric Gray (Mich), and Elijah Howard are the only ones that I've seen that just jump out as superior.
