Before these 2 games, Michigan has not lost at home since the Super Regional in 2008. Thats 36 games in a row!

I think I messed up. TN won the series in two with good defense, better hitting, and outstanding (at times) pitching. That's what it takes and I am proud of their accomplishments.

So now, the question becomes "how many SEC teams make it to Oklahoma City?"

This is a very young team with only 3 seniors, 1 junior, 5 sophomores and 10 freshman..... combine that with the ESPN Rise's #1 Softball Recruiting Class in the country coming this Fall and the future looks extremely bright!

Win or lose at the WCWS in OKC, the team has exceeded every expectation and this World Series appearance will be a tremendous experience for the young players!

What a wonderful way for the 3 Seniors to end their College Careers at the World Series. Congrats to the team and coaching staff but especially to Tiffany, Erin and Nicole (Peanut)

I'm not sure, but I wonder if it is pre-seeded -- meaning since Tennessee defeated a two seed the Vols effectively become that seed?

According to Mike Griffith, Tennessee plays the winner of Arizona and BYU.

NCAA info on the college world series. Lady Vols will play the winner of the BYU vs AZ game

Alabama vs Hawaii winner plays the Missouri vs Oregon winner

Ucla Vs ULL wiiner plays the Florida vs ASU winner

on the other side of the bracket

UT plays winner of AZ vs BYU

Washington plays the winner of UGA vs Calif

Well, AZ is up 10-1 in the 4th in game 2, after winning game 1 by a score of 2-1. Looks like a rematch is coming.

Congrats to the Softball team, went to my first game a few years agos at the old park & had a blast at the game. I've been wanting to get out to the new park & see them play. The future looks great with the Softball program.
