Honestly, if the young man’s dream is to play for Alabama, he should follow his dream and be a walk on if that is his only avenue. I would rather have players who want to be a Vol, NIL or not. Reason, if he plays well, he will transfer to Alabama in a couple of years. JMHO.

I have no problem with him being a Bama fan growing up. Problem is he seems to want to explore every option other than Tennessee.

Pruitt $hit all over a Baylor kid a couple yrs ago on signing day. I doubt that plays a big part here but there’s people at Baylor who remember their student getting treated this way. I realize it’s a different coach now but it still stinks. I said it then & I’ll say it now, Fulmer should have told Pruitt he can pull that on a Bama kid but not instate and certainly at a school like Baylor. Stupidity has consequences

Baylor is good program.

But they're not really a P5 talent producing program. Elijah Howard was a good player, but I think he's 4th string CB at Va Tech now? Recruiting is cut throat for sure.

Pruitt was trying his best to get real talent here. He just wasn't a good HC.

Let's see John Hannah voted best OL in last 50 years to play the game. Bill Johnson probably best center to ever play for Tenn. and don't forget icon Herman Hickman. You don't piss off schools period!

They got some P5 players this year and they got the TE coach from South Carolina so he would recruit players in so that should change soon

Man has to feed his family somehow. Even if it is telling these kids that going to Kentucky is a good idea where they will be biting the pillow for four years every time they play Tennessee. Can’t believe kids still trust these guys.
