TN OL Chris Morris (Texas A&M commit - Now JUCO)

Really? So when did Orgeron, Kiffin, Gran, Thompson or Wilson ever win the NROY?

To be completely fair, I'm not sure they gave those out back then, at least not by 247. The first RotY awards seem to have appeared around 2010 and later.

Still....in that short, short timeframe our current staff has THREE. And Tee was just a spot or 2 off twice before he actually won it outright. That is pretty dominant iyam.

he was a priority by all accounts....aim and miss. it happens.
Idk. I think he became a bigger priority late in the game. I like him as a player but I think he ends up as an OG wherever he lands at the next level. Definitely hurts but not as much as the miss on Ratledge.

I think we get over both just fine.

But if asked, I would categorize both as swings and misses.

You still keep swinging tho lol

Does this not seem like Trey Smith and Drew Richmond's recruitment? It seems like we felt we were behind for most of it with both of them? I could be imagining things to feel better about this.
I could definitely see this drag out if Tennessee wants it to.

Orgeron and Kiffin both won at USC, Gran won it at Auburn, Thompson win at Ala, Wilson won at LSU. It would've been a lot easit if you'd have just googled it but now you know.

You're incorrect they've been giving out this award for a while. Google is your friend.

Orgeron won in 2004, Kiffin in 2005,Eddie Gran 2011, Lance Thompson 2008, Frank Wilson 2012 24/7 is not the only group to gv iut this award ESPN and Rivals does too.

Only logical...280 pound OL without quality S&C should otherwise be dominating.

That's an asinine argument. Only J Johnson was that weight. Trey Smith, Drew Richmond, Ryan Johnson, Jerome Carvin, Riley Locklear, etc. were all well over 300lbs.

No matter how you slice it, the OL was ass and Friend didnt make any improvement as the season progressed.

Im a massive homer and believe in this staff to a fault, but Friend underachieved at UGA for years, and based on the zero improvement he made in year one I'm going to be critical.

I think this staff is the best in a decade by a country mile, but Friend is a sub par recruiter and a weak developer of talent, and I will maintain that stance until he proves me wrong. Hope he does.
