Texas A&M is scheduled to host four-star offensive lineman
Chris Morris of Memphis, Tenn., one of Tennessee’s longtime top in-state targets, on another unofficial visit this weekend that will allow him to attend the Aggies' pool party. Texas A&M has been the one constant among the top contenders for Morris over the past several months, dating back to last season, and while sources said the Vols remain the Aggies’ primary competition for him, all signs still point to Texas A&M currently being the favorite to land him. One source suggested there’s even a chance Morris could commit to the Aggies this weekend, but others believe his recruitment is more likely to extend into the fall. Regardless of the timeline for his decision, sources said Texas A&M still feels good about its chances, and it’s safe to say Tennessee still faces a major battle for Morris.
