same reason we got Wanya. Uga loaded up on OTs previous two class so he wasn’t even interested in giving then a real look. He focused on two schools with a need at his position. TN will have better luck recruiting OTs next class

Both Rivals and 247 have him listed as a guard. Smart money says Jimbo told him what he wanted to hear and he will be an offensive guard by the time he graduates or moves on. From the tape I have seen on him he doesn’t have the length to be a tackle.

Jimbo had an all-American TE and C, the best rb in school history (Trayveon Williams), and the top 2 lb’ers leave last year. He only has 5 seniors on the roster this year.

His first recruiting class was top 5. He doesn’t have quality upper classmen talent.

But, yeah, going from 125 in run defense the year prior to him to top 10 his first year and from 75ish in offense to top 20 in his first year isn’t doing anything. Beat LSU (who A&M hasn’t beaten since they joined the SEC) and dominated in his bowl game.

If that’s nothing, I’m sure TN would like nothing too.

He also got outplayed and should have been beaten by Arkansas. Auburn, Clemson & Ala all 3 manhandled and beat the brakes off Arky. Our losses to Ga St and BYU were definitely inexcusable, but Fisher also walked into a Locker room loaded with talent. Jimbo is about as shady, crooked and overrated as any HC in college football.

Had the same bad feeling about this kid that I did about his brother. He just wants to go to some flashy coach at some flashy program (see Cristian at UCLA, then Ole Miss). And he wants out of Tennessee.

Most SEC Fanbases are as Passionate as the others. Jimbo does have a NC at a different University thanks, in part to the HC at TN running his Defense snd having improved it significantly under Coach Pruitt and J. Winston. After Winston left, Jimbo went 25 -12 and was run out of Tallahassee. Larry Coker won a NC at Miami but was not a good HC..Tex A'M will regret wasting that 75+ Million on a HC, who not only won't win a NC there he will never even win the West or the SEC.
