Quoting facts, man? C'mon. This is Vol Nation baby. A&M sucks and definitely aren't building anything with that crappy coach. Whereas we're on the up!Yeah, moving up 100 spots in total defense and 55 spots in total offense totally sucks. I’m sure all teams would hate that type of tangible success.
I would be seriously surprised on this one. He is just one of these kids that doesn’t seem to want to play for Tennessee. I know he’s had contact and visited but he wants to be at A&M.Quoting facts, man? C'mon. This is Vol Nation baby. A&M sucks and definitely aren't building anything with that crappy coach. In all seriousness, Morris could be a last minute flip candidate. Still a couple of strong relationships within the program.

Vandy and A&M aren’t remotely the same though. Robertson was committed to Vandy.
I would be surprised if he ends up at Tennessee. Theres a few comments behind the scenes that make me believe that. That said Robertson had some pretty crap things to say about Tennessee and ended up there so I guess there’s hope. This is true. But Butch landed JR despite a distance disadvantage and Robertson having friends on Vandy. Pruitt has home court advantage ( as much as you can with West Tennessee recruits). He may very well stick with TAMU. But I sure feel better about it than I did Robertson.

Just going to say some had said before the season started that Tennessee would be the same as it’s always been and struggle and Pruitt would be yet another failed coach. The struggles last season, lack of bowl game, lack of player development, lack of draft picks, and even some former players have been used against us. Some have bought into that hook, line and sinker.
We have an elite recruiting staff but we have a lot stacked against us right now. Making a bowl game would help tremendously for this team in recruiting and development with the extra practices.

Anyone reasonable knows that but a kid deciding on his future can have that stick in his mind and scare him. I think most dismissed the negative recruiting then GA State happened and it got worse from there. Those things can't reasonably be held against CJP in his first year, especially the way he came in late and had to quickly piece together some semblance of a recruiting class. Several of his '19 guys are already making an impact, and that should send the opposite message. The team was somewhat divided to start the year, I think they're coming together now, whether it be under Maurer or they're buying into CJP, but I'm not willing to pass judgement on him until he's had reasonable time to fix this shambles of a program. If recruits buy in to that negativity so easily- don't need 'em.

Even though we lost I think this team and staff have helped themselves the last few weeks. Getting to a bowl game would push a few guys that are on the fence into the fold. I don’t think Morris is one of them. To be fair I thought Richmond was a waste of recruiting resources years ago as well. Turns out I was right but for the wrong reasons
