'20 TN OL Cooper Mays (UT SIGNEE)

From a VQ poster who’s use of “us” is at best dubious...on Cooper’s good showing against the UGA commit.

Also worth pointing out that Burroughs is their 3rd ranked DT in the 2020 class, as they have 4 DTs already committed. Wouldn’t count on him still having an offer come December. On the other hand, Cooper is our best OL prospect committed or likely to commitanytime soon. We have to get 2-3 years out of Cooper at Center. UGA has a bunch of options at DT before Burroughs number ever gets called.

Haha. Do they have like a talking points handbook or something?
Rhetorical.

So don't get excited about having a 4* OL that's committed to us that did better than some TN posters thought he would because some TN posters still think he won't continue to do better.

“McKinnley Jackson has a good, athletic cross face to beat Cooper Mays. Mays then wins the next 2. Good week for Mays.”

Simmons

"
Cooper Mays stops Maason Smith on the first rep. Smith got off the ball quick on the 2nd but Mays had a solid recovery. 2nd rep could have gone to the defense though. Mays clearly wins the 3rd."

Yes it will. People are passionate about their school. And I can’t think of a worse example of a kid choosing to go elsewhere and then pissing on us. #truth
You all have to realize so many posters on here are teens, or preteens. Some are older but have a great lack of maturity.so just try to ignor them best you can. Like this.

The only place that we strayed from The Opening staff on our Final Five for the offensive line was Mays. The Tennessee commit missed the cut for the Final Five in favor of Myles Murao who also had a great week but he edges Murao out on our list because of the way he was able to battle from the beginning to the end of every rep. At 6-foot-3, 282 pounds, Mays was also athletic with a 4.63 shuttle but his tenacity, resetting his hands and keeping his feet moving every rep earned him some wins that other offensive linemen would have let slip away.

247.
Basically he ain’t the biggest or the fastest but has that dog in him.

Exactly what I want for an interior lineman

Mays on the dream team with Gilbert, Dumervil, Ojulari, and Sewell. Hope we are very happy, but UGA may end up happier.

Coach Friend ain’t scared to start a Freshman. Can’t wait to see what Cooper does with some more junk in the trunk. Could get to that 300 lbs. mark after one Spring.
